The Catalan Community in Poland will celebrate Sant Jordi on 23 April making a “calçotada” in Warsaw. A “calçotada” is a traditional Catalan meal where a type of green onion is roasted on the grill and then being served with an special sauce made of nuts, garlic, ripe tomatoes and paprika called “ñora”. This traditional Catalan event takes normally place during the first months of the year. There will also be a stand with books provided by the Catalan community along with roses and the Catalan Government Delegation to Central Europe bookmarks.
