On Saturday, April 26 at 3 p.m., the celebration of Saint George’s Day in Helsinki will take place in the Luckan space (Yrjönkatu 27), in the city center. Organized by the Government Delegation to the Nordic and Baltic Countries, together with the Casal Catalana de Finlàndia (Catalan community in Finland), the festive day will feature an institutional reception, exhibitions of castells (Catalan human towers) and sardanas (Catalan folk dances), poetry readings and children’s activities. This is a unique opportunity to experience Saint George’s Day outdoors and share an afternoon of culture, tradition and brotherhood with the Catalan community in Finland.
Admission is free with prior registration. More information: https://exteriors.gencat.cat/ca/ambits-dactuacio/afers_exteriors/delegacions_govern/paisos-nordics/agenda/age_santjordi2025_HEL
