Personell Consultant, Cruiseships
In connection with one of our employees
starting her maternity leave in a couple
of months, we are looking for her
replacement. This will be a temporary
position for approximately 14 months.
Main responsibilities:
To consistently ensure that the Hotel
Department onboard is sufficiently
manned with qualified personnel in
accordance with the ship operator¿s
company policy.
Daily correspondence with the
respective ship
Update records in our personnel
system
Perform required research to select
and employ personnel based on the
specifications and qualifications as per
the respective job profiles.
Daily screening of applications and
conducting search to verify
credentials
Maintain personnel files / crew
records.
Prepare employment agreements and
other contractual arrangements in
connection with crew signing on, visas,
guarantee letters, Yellow Fever and
Seaman¿s Books (if required)
Arrange flight tickets, and
coordinate arrival information to port
agents, crewmembers and respective
ship
Maintain daily contact with
shipboard management regarding personnel
requirements and other personnel
matters
Weekly meetings to discuss ship /
business related matters at ICMA
Background and qualifications:
Excellent English, both oral and
written
Good computer skills
Worked on cruiseships and / or in
hotel industry ashore
International experience
Easy to get along with

Seakajak,Outdoor guide /Handler Summer

Our center has of 270 Alaskans Huskies.
They need good and daily care in the
summer: Feeding, cleaning, puppies
training.
We offer several summer
outdoor/touristic activities as
kayaking, trekking, hiking, glacier
walking, touring with dogs... We receive
also guests for Huskies farm visit and
nature walk.
For this summer season, we are looking
for a Kayak Outdoor guide / Handler.
100% job.
The kayak guide shall take in charge
groups of tourists for seakajaking tour,
day or night. You need to have at least
3 years experiences as a seakajakking
guide and level 2 education in kayaking.
The certificates as CPR/first Aids are
required.
As an outdoor guide, you will take
groups for trekking or hiking. A
relevant experience is montain hiring is
mandatory.
As a handler, you would preferably have
previous experience in Polar Dogs
Kennel.
You must be confident and be able to
take care of groups with an enthusiastic
attitude in safety and security with a
real care of customers satisfaction.
You will work in a team of 10 persons,
team spirit is very important.
You must have a fluent English.
It is a seasonal job from 15th Mai 2013
to 31st August 2013.

sightseeing tours. We are looking for
people with good interpersonal and
language skills, especially in German,
Italian, Spanish, Dutch, French,
Mandarin, Russian, and Japanese.
If you can picture yourself standing in
front of 40 tourists telling them
interesting facts and amusing stories
about Tromso or Lofoten, you might be
the person we are looking for!
The base salary is NOK 200 per hour for
new guides, guides working with us for
the second year get a base salary of NOK
210 an hour, while guides working with
us for the third year or more get a base
salary of NOK 230 an hour.

Information about the position: For the
summer season 2013 (from the middle of
April to the beginning of September) we
are currently looking for more TOUR
GUIDES.
Position requirements: You need to speak
fluent English, German (C1 to C2 level)
and Spanish (B2 to C2 level according to
EU standards, see ¿Europass language
self-assessment grid¿). French in
addition will also be valued. Applicants
will be submitted to language tests.
Please note that all the languages above
are required.
You must also be interested in Norwegian
culture, history and geography, enjoy
working with people and be
service-minded. The selected candidates
will have to attend our training program
(online course before coming to Norway,
plus on-site course in Norway from the
22nd of April until the middle of May).
Applicants with higher education
(minimum one year at University level)
will be given priority.
Wages: NOK 15 000 NOK (app. 2000 €)
gross per month.
Housing: Accommodation and food expenses
are not included in the wage. You will

Sóc l'Elena! La meva parella i jo estem

Hola a tothom!
Em presento... em dic Narcís, gironí de
tota la vida. Ja fa molt temps que tinc
al cap la idea de passar una temporada
fora de casa, a l'extranger.... i
Noruega és un clar candidat, i més des
de que m'han dit que és relativament
fàcil trobar-hi una feina.
No us demano que m'ajudeu a trobar-ne
una, ni que em traduïu res ni per
l'estil. Senzillament vinc buscant
opinions i alguna orientació. De moment
m'he estudiat tot el que posa a la web
de l'embaixada, m'he registrat a nav.no
i he intentat contactar amb alguna gent
i empreses, com ara la Thon hotels, que
he vist que busquen gent.
També he llegit que per la zona de
Finnmark hi ha molta oferta, sobretot de
gent amb perfils tècnics (com seria al
meu cas) per a una mina que està en
expansió a la zona. Algú en sap quelcom
o on trobar-ne informació?

Al final de voltar per Stavanger i Oslo,
resulta que m ha sortit feina a
Trondheim. Com que la meva terra me l'
estimo molt i sempre em ve de gust
mantenir la cultura catalana, donsc
agrairïa si algú de vosaltres està
voltant per allà.
